reproduction

the gestation period for a sugar glider is about 16 days. there are usually about one to two, and very rarely three gliders born. the weight of them is about .19 grams. after the sixteen or so days, they are still very very small, and even hairless. when they are born, they make their way to the mothers pouch, seeing as how they are marsupials. they will stay there for about two months, and after that period if time, they slowly emerge to the world and become an adult sugar glider.
